Sticker “Dvizh” Kaleidoscope
The kaleidoscope has a dual meaning, one of which is the rapid change of events and phenomena. Just as modern warfare progresses and changes, and just as unpredictable as the “dvizh” and the situation are, this word aptly describes exactly that. The color green is associated not only with “green paint” but also with youth and personal growth. In modern Ukrainian military culture, the term “dvizh” symbolizes the adventures of real men in the greatest battle of the past hundred years. Fierce and relentless battles, in which fighters risk their lives, are combined with a sense of excitement and the awareness of being part of the great cause of our ancestors. The “joy of battle” and the sense of elation have been known to warriors since the days of the Cossacks, during the era of the “Army of the Unconquered,” and throughout the great days of the Liberation Struggle—through the years and up to the present day. The Ukrainian military tradition embodies not only a love of freedom, mastery in battle, and a readiness to fight for what is rightfully ours, but also a passion for military service, danger, and the age-old struggle. “Live by taking risks… and do not be tempted by material gain or the comfortable life of a commoner.”
