“Triyka Drip”, Ethiopia Ambela Bella (strawberry, vanilla, jasmine)
Ethiopia Ambela Bella (strawberry, vanilla, jasmine)
This coffee comes from Buku Kebele, Hambella Woreda, in the West Guji Zone, which is considered the birthplace of coffee. The Guji Zone is located in the Oromia Region in southern Ethiopia and was previously considered a subregion of Sidamo, but was recently separated. The forested area is ideal for growing Arabica coffee: an elevation of over 1,500 meters above sea level; rich, well-drained (predominantly volcanic) soils that require almost no additional fertilizers; and a high-altitude tropical climate with 1,500–2,500 mm of rainfall over nine months and optimal temperatures ranging from 15 to 24 °C.
